Nevertheless, admit it... You wouldn't say no to a feeling of lightness and well-being in your body, which has seen all kinds of colours over the last few days. A few excesses never hurt anyone, but your body may need some help and time to recharge and feel calmer. What better way to start the new year than with new, natural habits that are easy to implement in your daily life? We reveal our 5 tips to start the new year naturally 💪

#1 Enjoy a Golden Milk

If you haven't tried Golden Milk yet, you're missing out! It is a delicious drink with health benefits. It has healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Just what your liver needs to recover from the festivities... It is a traditional Indian drink with its roots in Ayurveda. To prepare a mug of Golden Milk, you will need :

• 200 ml of plant milk, you can find it at one of our partners(bi'Ok, Bio Atelier, Epicerie de Sarah, ...)
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 pinch of cinnamon
• 1 pinch of pepper
• 1 teaspoon of honey (preferably organic)
• 1 pinch of fresh or ground ginger

Heat the milk gently in a saucepan. Stop just before boiling. Once the pan is off the heat, add the turmeric, honey, cinnamon, pepper and ginger. Stir and enjoy!

#2 Enjoy a facial

The end of year festivities are certainly not your skin's favourite time of year... Between the cold, too much alcohol and the omnipresence of sugar, it has a hard time keeping up! To make it feel better and moisturise it, prepare a homemade facial with the magic of lemon combined with turmeric (if you have any left over after preparing your Golden Milk). The turmeric will calm any inflammation on your skin and the lemon will quickly bring a glow to your complexion with the active enzymes in its juice. What you will need:

• The juice of half a lemon
• 1 tablespoon of water or rose water that you can find at our partners(Vidya, Juna, Orybany, ...)
• ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 teaspoon of honey (preferably organic)

Dilute the lemon juice with water in a bowl. Mix in the honey and turmeric. Apply the mixture all over your face and neck. Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. This treatment will have a therapeutic effect on your skin! If DYI is not your thing, opt for a pre-prepared treatment to soothe and soften your skin.
