Holistic Therapist - Psycho-Body

Born and raised in Mexico, I inherited the teachings and gifts of herbal healing and massage from my grandmother.

From my native land I also had the gift of being surrounded by different types of curanderas¹ (including parteras²) and a culture full of rituals following ancestral beliefs and knowledge that are as rich as they are wild and in connection with nature.

These memories and beliefs of the land where death is celebrated as much as life, are today the object of my practice as a therapist and have been the seed of my interest in the sacred cycles of life and death as well as the study of the feminine psyche (collective and individual), notably during their different episodes (sexuality, fertility, menstrual cycle, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, post-partum, maternity, menopause, etc).

Today, my different trainings offer me the possibility to propose a wide range of psycho-corporal therapeutic answers: energetic care, therapeutic touch & massage based on the EMTE method, Bach flowers, guided static and moving meditations, reconnection through the art of guided breathing, anchoring and awakening to feminine sacred sexuality, initiation to natural gynecology and conscious parenthood.

I also offer preparation and psycho-corporal integration of the use of medicinal plants.

The therapeutic responses I propose are all guided by the deep conviction that life cycles and death are, in fact, events that keep repeating themselves in the existential reality of each being: we die to parts of ourselves all the time, to possibilities of realities that we give up. When we make a decision, the other choice dies instantly, a part of us also dies every time we change jobs, partners, and then we are reborn in a new existential reality.

They are therefore powerful interdependent sacred events, linked to each other in an infinite continuity; episodes of altered states of consciousness, bridges, temporary and punctual accesses, portals to the essence of the great whole and to the structural change of the psyche itself as well as our relationships in society.

Where, unfortunately, our society tends to penalise these processes of mourning, of "depression", these beings who are born, those who manage life, or even those at the end of life (by minimising them) perceiving them as dependents, often "useless" and cumbersome, I see a hope, an unprecedented opportunity to approach the source of the essential and the wisdom and I invite the consultants to be in the reception and to live these processes in the most natural way possible.

A curandero (curandera in feminine) is a healer in Hispanic America. They administer remedies for diseases. Their powers are considered to be supernatural, as it is believed that they deal directly with malevolent spirits that cause illness.
