Torrefactory's mission is to make quality coffee accessible to everyone. To achieve this, Torrefactory carefully selects the best origins and roasts them by hand in Belgium. Available as beans or ground, Torrefactory coffees are also certified fair trade and organic. Moreover, the brand is committed: they have decided to work around three key values: impeccable quality, respect for man and nature and a modern and efficient service.
Based in Ottignies, in the heart of Walloon Brabant, Torrefactory was founded in 2017.
First and foremost, Torrefactory is the story of a meeting over a good coffee between three passionate entrepreneurs: the first meeting took place in 2016 when Laurent, then active in the world of tea, met François, an artisan roaster active for four generations. In 2018, Laurent met Cédric, who was passionate about entrepreneurship and wanted to contribute to a project highlighting quality and craftsmanship. The connection was made very quickly and Cédric joined Torrefactory, closely followed by Florent, who joined them a few months later.
