The cider house, created in 1950 by François SEHEDIC, has always specialised in the production of drinks made from old varieties of cider apples specific to the Breton region and particularly to the prestigious Fouesnant region.
Marie-Laure Séhédic, her husband Christian Daniélou and their daughter Sophie continue to develop the estate.
The cider house is now equipped with a fruit sorting and washing station, a hydraulic press, a tangential filter and stainless steel autoclave tanks.
All ciders are naturally effervescent.
The orchards have always been very aware of the need to respect the environment and to produce natural products. The orchards are worked according to the principles of organic farming and the cider house holds the certificate of organic producer and processor.
56 times medal winner at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris over the last 30 years, the tradition continues.
In 2019, the Séhédic cider house received the gold medal for the Fine Bretagne AOC, the silver medal for the DEMI-SEC and DOUX cider as well as for the POMMEAU DE BRETAGNE AOC and in 2020, the Prix d'excellence du Concours Général Agricole de PARIS, which rewards the know-how of the producers distinguished at each of the last 3 editions of the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.
